If there is one item on our vast menu that brings more smiles and Homer Simpson-esque “mmmmmm” sound it is definitely the bacon. Who does not love the salty goodness of bacon?

Bacon is first cured usually using large quantities of salt, either in a brine or in a dry packing, resulting in “fresh bacon.” The fresh bacon may then be dried for weeks or months in cold air or sometimes it is boiled or smoked. Bacon is typically cooked before eating, often by frying. It is prepared from several different cuts of meat. It is usually made from side and back cuts of pork, except in the United States and Canada, where it is most commonly prepared from pork belly.

The delicious meat may be eaten smoked, boiled, fried, baked, or grilled and eaten on its own, as a side dish or used as a minor ingredient to flavor dishes.

Bacon can be found throughout our menu at Chicago Waffles. It is a major part in our bacon & chicken waffles, can be added to a skillet, one of our fresh salads, the BLT or just on a plate one its own!
