Chicago Waffles

The word crepe is of French origin meaning “curled”. While crepes are often associated with France, the breakfast treat is enjoyed worldwide. Crepes are served with a variety of fillings, from the simplest version with only sugar to culinary creations with fruit and cream.

Some regions of the world don’t just enjoy the crepe for breakfast or dessert, but they also use different types of meats, cheeses and mushrooms for lunch and dinner.

Our crepes at Chicago Waffles can be enjoyed any time of the day and have four varieties to choose from.  Our Red, White and Blue crepes are topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries and sour cream.  Granny’s Special include glazed Granny Smith apples. We have crepes topped with bananas, candied walnuts and whipped cream and traditional stuffed crepes with Nutella, powder sugar and whipped cream.
